We are internet service. We are here offering a special non-business Student Package. Each package contains a free domain name (http://studentsname.netsky.biz), e-mail address if needed, 10MB of hosting space, a 200MB limit of data upload transaction and a web account. Students can use them to publish all of their speeches, hobbies, stories, artwork and projects in their personal websites by themselves (We teach students how to do this in our website at Step By Step- Make a web site). We
will organize some competitions (such as Joke, art, story and web
site competitions) on education.netsky.biz according to different
topics and age groups. Each student could have the choice of sending
their best work, and entering one of our
competitions according to the topic of their story/artwork/website
and their age group. We would then publish them on our Competitions
web site WITHOUT the student name and school. All students can vote on
the entire competition and we allow them to invite their friends to
vote. This would be fun to students and it is also is a chance to
let students be proud their excellent work. The winners will be the
three (3) students with the highest number of votes. We would
publish the winners’ articles with the student names and school
names on our web and give these students winner certificates and
prizes. Each competition would be due one month after it has
started. If it is possible, we will collect the winners’ entire
articles and publish them together as a book. The benefits for these schemes are: 1. The children are a new generation, and it would really help them in the future if they learn computing skills, especially typing, when they are young. They are most likely going to need them in the future. 2. It gives the students a chance to manage themselves and develop their own hobbies. 3. Through making web pages, they can let their assignments look more beautiful and stylish. It gives them the chance to find out what they like in a web page, research how to make the images/effects, and present their assignments in the best way they feel possible. To them, assignments would no longer be boring (at least not for a very long time). It also saves the time for writing and drawing, and the space for giant pieces of cardboard that just gets crinkled up in their bags. 4. From the competitions the students would feel more competitive, and would try harder in school. 5. From publishing the winners' articles the students would get more samples to look at and compare to, which means more chances to learn new writing skills 6. They wouldn't need to take homework home and lose them. The teachers could just e-mail them their homework and they could do it, and then send them back. 7. They can organize public activities from home, and if they e-mail their full plans to us, we can publish it on our website. We normally charge $45 per student/per semester or $85 per student/per
year. We are most likely students register together from school.
